I have found it easier to post in my Caterpillar Corner FaceBook page, than on this blog. My apologies! We had a great school year this past 2015-2016. We learned about friendships, we went on a field trip again to the Fire Station. We made homemade pizza for Halloween. We made some awesome gingerbread houses at Christmas time and had a great Christmas program. We learned about animals in the ocean, and the difference between ocean water and fresh water...will it sink or float? (Great science experiment!)
Spring time brought about my favorite activity....the life cycle of the butterfly! What a treat it is to watch the transformation from caterpillar to butterfly. We let our butterflies go at a nearby park, and enjoyed a great picnic as well!
It was sad for me to see some of my friends move on to kindergarten! I have had some of these special friends for the past two years, but I know they are ready with the skills needed to succeed in kindergarten!
Happy Summer to all! And here is to the new school year....2016-2017! Two classes, I am excited!
